If your experiences with corporate blogging are anything like ours, you may find that once you start external blogs, bloggers crawl out of the deepest crevices and most unimaginable parts of the organization (one of our most successful blogs is run by developers – many of whom wouldn’t even claim English as their first language).

Can you figure out who in your organization should be blogging?

Research released by the Computers in Human Behavior journal may help you identify these folk upfront. What are the most important traits? According to the extract:

“The results of two studies indicate that people who are high in openness to new experience and high in neuroticism are likely to be bloggers.”

Find these guys and you may have your star bloggers.
