Microblogging events

Twitter for event blogs? The Logic + Emotion blog runs a great piece on effectively Twittering (microblogging) a conference. Big takeaway? Don’t be afraid to express your point of view, and remember to follow Twitter feedback to your commentary – keep your audience engaged.

If you’re looking for real-world examples, the ZDNet blogs cover how Twitter has been used at the new media conference SXSWi.

I’d be interested in finding a technical how-to guide that covers the basics of Twittering a conference or event. Perhaps this could stop me running into the same problems Tim O’Reilly came up against in his Jonathan Schwartz interview at Web 2.0 Expo.
