Are you really using your blog to listen to your audience?

John Cass picks up on a post by Elizabeth Albrycht telling companies to listen, acknowledge and demonstrate, when it comes to social media communication. The first two are fairly self-explanatory but how do you demonstrate you’ve been listening to your audience? How about make sure that feedback gets worked in to your development cycle.

In the tech field, this could be having online user manuals which allow comments. Valid comments should be worked into future manual updates and where applicable product development. Seems that this could be a pipe dream – not many companies are going down this road.
