php wysiwyg editor

I’ve been looking for a way to edit textareas in a form with a toolbar for all the fancy formatting.

So far, the best solution appears to be Solmetra’s SPAW editor:

The page integration seems pretty straightforward. I’ll let you know how I get on.

If you are interested, there are some other options.

The Tagging Solution

It’s taken me some time to get on the tagging revolution, but I think it may just have happened.

Somebody introduced me to the SimpleTagging Widget for Wordpress. I guess for me the killer app was the type-ahead feature which helps you see what other tags have been used.

The other key advantage is the possibility to show the top related posts.

Having said that, on first try, I had a problem with a fatal error.

just plain silly, but a reverse version of google:

you even need to type your search query in backwards.

some people have far too much time on their hands. they could be blogging about people with too much time on their hands.

Testing, testing

One of our marketing managers pointed me to this site:

http://www.marketingexperiments.com/

It’s a journal dedicated to testing marketing campaigns. Interesting stuff for newbies like me. I now know what ‘variable cluster testing’ is, and how it can be useful.

More than that, they seem to have narrowed in on the right questions – such as how can I optimize a free trial offer? Or what’s the best format for landing pages?

Some of their conclusions are not exactly what I would have expected.
